Make sure you don’t miss any tax benefit.

To ensure you take full advantage of your salary packaging cards you need to be aware that at the end of every FBT year, 31st March, any excess pre-tax funds on your salary package card are returned to you as salary and taxed at your applicable marginal rate.

To ensure you get all your pre-tax benefits, you can transfer your unspent funds onto an e-voucher anytime – especially prior to the end of the FBT year (31/03 annually).
